Synopsis
In Jack Campbell's thrilling new novel, The Lost Fleet: Beyond the Frontier, the remnants of the human Alliance are still reeling from their devastating defeat at the hands of the enigmatic Syndics. Led by Captain John "Black Jack" Geary, the Lost Fleet has been scavenging for resources and fighting a desperate rearguard action against their relentless pursuers.
Now, as they venture further into the uncharted regions of space, they stumble upon a glimmer of hope. A distress signal from a distant star system leads them to a planet called Frontier, where they find a small colony of humans who have been isolated from the Alliance for centuries.
But Frontier is not the safe haven they were hoping for. The planet is under attack by a powerful alien race known as the Swarm. These creatures are unlike anything the Lost Fleet has ever encountered, and they pose a grave threat to both humanity and the Frontier colony.
